From March 2023 to 2024, was the CEO of the Manager of Singapore-listed Prime US REIT, owner and operator of a US$ 1.5bn US office property portfolio. Prior to that was the Deputy CEO and CFO from May 2020 before taking over as CEO. Most recent banking role - CEO of Maybank’s Securites and Investment Banking Singapore subsidiary between 2014 and 2020. Over 20 year experience across bulge bracket IB firms from 1994 onwards, at JPMorgan, Merrill Lynch, Deutsche Bank and UBS. - Roles include country investment banker, sector banker for TMT, and head of multi-product Southeast Asia corporate finance teams- Managed product quality (including chairing Asian Equity and M&A committees at UBS)- Transitioned from senior investment banker to management and leadership at Maybank and Prime US REIT. - Managing businesses and Maybank and PRIME US REIT involved transforming businesses in transitional times in the securities and IB business and in commercial real estate respectively. At Maybank, we built new business verticals, rationalized business lines, and drove collaboration across Maybank group entities while managing risk, resulting in multi-fold profitability growth during my 6 years there. At PRIME US REIT, we built a great management team that worked through a difficult market environment to proactively manage our balance sheet, asset level leasing and improvement initiatives and address the needs of our multiple stakeholders - investors, lenders and tenants. Am an avid golfer (handicap 4) and padel player, with interests in cooking, fitness, yoga, bridge and travel.
