Als plancoördinator was ik verantwoordelijk voor het opstellen en afstemmen van de onderhoudsplannen voor het spoor in de regio Rotterdam, zoals lange termijn vervangings-, instandhoudings- en nieuwbouwplannen en daarbij maakte ik gebruik van afwegingskaders gebaseerd op LCM en MKBA. Belangrijk onderdeel was het bewaken van de balans tussen de verschillende technische disciplines als onderbouw, bovenbouw en seinwezen en het afstemmen van de interactie en samenhang daartussen.
