>Responsible for carrying out accident investigation and prevention (AIP) type work. This involved developing engineering schemes to reduce accidents along the highway network. All stages of scheme development were followed, from initial investigation and design, through to implementation and monitoring. > Responsible for developing a system to monitor all local safety schemes carried out in Warwickshire, and presenting the information in the Authority’s Local Transport Plan.> Responsible for carrying out over 100 Road Safety Audits and training new staff in safety audit procedures. > Experience in traffic signal design and maintenance > Experience in designing safety improvement schemes for cyclists and pedestrians as a technical assistant to the Safer Routes to School Team. > Project Engineer for major town centre traffic calming and environmental enhancement schemes in Leamington Spa and Coleshill.
