-Lead a team of 3 that handled 16 medium/small enterprises with credit profile of INR 5 million and above each, in various industries viz. iron and steel , digital media, cement, construction, trading, supply chain financing,Asset backed loans,etc. -I was responsible for overall credit health of the unit and ensured timely credit appraisal , monitoring of the accounts, legal documentation, unit inspections etc. -Key responsibilities also included compliance to credit committee’s stipulations, adherence to the bank’s loan policy whilst managing the accounts, garnering new quality business and NPA management.

-I was responsible for growing the branch’s deposit and advance portfolio as well as steering profit growth on a quarterly basis . -I also managed daily operations of the branch including bank product sales, customer service, cross selling and staff management. -My key responsibilities also included NPA reduction, statutory compliance and process adherence. I was able to reduce the NPAs, grow customer base and business substantially, thereby improving branch’s ranking and balance sheet.-Under my leadership the Branch was awarded first position in the region in the Self Help Group (SHG) campaign for Dec Qrt 2017-18.

-As a Credit Officer in a mid corporate branch, I managed portfolios of 24 accounts of corporates ranging between INR 50 million and 500 million with a total portfolio size of 26 billion across various industries viz. iron & Steel, leather, glass, paper, jute etc.-Key responsibilities included post sanction maintenance of the accounts, preparing sanction letters, legal documentation, charge filing in consultation with the legal advisors and complying with the stipulations of the sanctioning authorities and bank’s loan policy. -Assisting the Relationship manager in retaining and acquiring new business along with sharp focus on growth of the advance portfolio thus contributing to branch’s growth.-Strict monitoring of transactions , along with assessment of the monthly and quarterly growth reports of the units, arranging timely inspections and audits of the units, thereby identifying any early warning signs and initiating timely remedial measures(NPA management), wherever applicable.-Conducting regular consortium meetings on behalf of the consortium of banks.-Facilitating project management and contract negotiations to align bank, investors, legal consultants and acquisition targets.

-Responsible for issuance of letters of credit (Imports) for over 100 mid corporate clients in various foreign currencies. -Key Responsibilities included sending and receiving SWIFT messages and strict adherence to UCPDC norms while issuing LC’s. -I was successful in improving TAT and revenue of the department in my short stint along with ensuring there was no income leakage and providing best rates to the clients at all times.
