The Library Innovation Lab is a forward-looking group of thinkers and doers working at the intersection of libraries, technology, and law. We are part of the Harvard Law School Library and The Berkman Klein Center for Internet and Society. We are growing knowledge and community by bringing library principles to technological frontiers. We have focused on important projects such as H2O opencasebooks.org, Perma.cc, the Caselaw Access Project and The Nuremberg Project.Currently, LIL is exploring the goals articulated in Harvard Library’s Advancing Open Knowledge strategy from a decentralized and generative perspective via our Democratizing Open Knowledge 3-year program. Our goals are to diversify and expand access to knowledge — who is creating data?; enhance discovery and engagement — who is using and trusting data, is it reliable?; and preserve for the future — how are we storing data?Through this program, we host events, convene communities, experiment, and build substantial, high quality projects around the approaches that work.

Introduce new brands to MA market through sales and creative programming: secure and drive distribution and account activity goals● Work together with management teams from Venture partners to plan, communicate and execute brand objectives, budget, point-of-sale, resource database and in-market programming● Develop budget, forecasts, analyses, compliance, reporting and operational plans of each brand and their distributor partners● Communicate regularly and work effectively with creative department, marketing team, division and regional field managers on market research findings/suggestions, as well as determine key performance indicators (KPIs) and perform against each● Innovate and oversee program to recruit and manage candidates for weekly activation activities - taking into account each brand’s tax filings and compliance variables

Build valuable trade and consumer relationships through integrated marketing and sales techniques: triple distribution, market and multimedia growth● Develop financial policies (GAAP standards) for each brand and distributor partners● Maintain open communication with brand representatives and work closely with creative and distributor partners while developing successful brand programming and point of sale● Recruit and onboard a team of professionals for market activations and oversee all day-to-day operations in market● Lead team-building exercises and interactive bar education events at corporate partners and non-profit organizations such as WGBH and Mill City Grows● Conduct educational seminars for account staff and distributors per direction of brand

Support portfolio and build brand loyalty through creative programming and consumer engagements: exceed sales goals, enhance market growth and multimedia presence ● Recruit and onboard a team of professionals to drive activations and engage consumers● Communicate regularly and work effectively with division managers, creative, regional and field managers, and marketing on market research findings/suggestions and sales budget, as well as determine key performance indicators and perform against each● Manage sales information, trade meetings, reporting, database, and oversee day-to-day market activity
