I've spent over 7 years in retail, and while I once believed that was the career for me, and put in the work and gained the skills to elevate myself up that career ladder, I have decided it's time for a change. I am currently working full-time as a Trading 2IC (AKA assistant manager), while also studying a Bachelor of Business with a major in Marketing full-time, via distance study at Massey University. As an avid dancer, reader and gamer outside of work and study, I have refined personal time-management to almost an art-form and am looking for roles that allow me to continue my solid work/study/life balance. Ideally my next career move would be into a marketing role, but I am open to any business-based role, and as part of my degree have gained solid base knowledge in finance, communications, management, and information systems. I am also highly tech literate, with experience using a multitude of software including Microsoft Office Suite, Salesforce, and G Suite, and am able to pick up new concepts quickly (once upon a time I ran a Tumblr blog where I frequently edited the HTML coding to get it to look exactly how I wanted, and have continued developing basic HTML skills on my own since). As a final bonus- I type very quickly, so if you need data entry work done, emails typed up, or meeting notes jotted down in a Google Doc. quickly, I'm your woman! (My last typing test yielded a result of 72 words per minute at 98% accuracy- the average person's typing speed is typically around 40 wpm). I'm also pedantic about correct spelling, so I don't sacrifice accuracy for speed.
