In this role, I demonstrated substantial patience and perseverance. Upon my hiring, it was communicated that, had "lead" positions been established, I would have assumed such a title immediately. During the tenure, the manager sought my insights, guidance, and advice consistently. I efficiently organized server sections, delegated side tasks, and adeptly handled escalated customer situations, ensuring a high standard of service. Despite these contributions, I chose to pursue a new opportunity that aligned with my professional growth objectives. Despite negotiations during my initial role, the prospect of assuming managerial responsibilities without the corresponding title or remuneration persisted, with no anticipated change in the foreseeable future.

In this role, I had the opportunity to unleash my creative expression in a judgment-free environment. At this open-book company, I gained invaluable insights into achieving sales goals and honed my ability to devise innovative solutions. Notably, 80% of our inventory comprised items from customers, emphasizing the dynamic nature of my interactions with diverse individuals throughout the day. Recognized as "Employee of the Month" in my second month, my employer introduced me to the "Accelerated Manager's" program. Regrettably, relocation constraints led to my resignation, as no alternative locations were available.

In this role, I had the chance to assume multiple roles, embodying versatility in a charming local breakfast and lunch restaurant with a more compact staff compared to larger chains. As servers, we also served as hosts, food runners, cashiers, table bussers, and occasionally, dishwashers. The demands of this position necessitated adept multitasking across various responsibilities, putting my skills to the test daily.

During my time at this restaurant, my collaborative skills as a team player underwent significant development. The restaurant's crew seamlessly united in every facet to contribute to the thriving success of the business. The sense of dependability and appreciation I experienced played a pivotal role in shaping me into a more proficient and valued employee.

I look back on my time at 4Rivers fondly. The managers, supervisors, and colleagues were what made the job really fantastic. So much so, I never minded working during the holidays. I really pushed myself with this job, and I believe it’s helped make me a more responsible person.

A consignment store that sold clothes and furniture, my duties consisted of conducting purchases, managing inventory, greeting customers, helping them find what they're looking for, and making sure they leave happy so they will return. This was a seasonal position.

While providing an excellent customer experience; greet customers, helping guests on the sales floor, informing customers of sales or specials, and ringing up purchases. I also helped the Merchandising team twice while in this seasonal position.

While living in Los Angeles for a short period of time in 2014, I was fortunate enough to be a part of the crew for a movie. I learned a lot from the more experienced in the field.

Like most reception jobs, I had basic reception duties (answer multiple phones, make copies, clean office). The most memorable moment was when I received a “We Appreciate You” card from the staff. I often arrived early, and feel I achieved my goals set for myself in my first job.
