As open, pragmatic problem solver with a particular interest in in environmental issues and transition management I currently work as Advisor Riskmanagement in the Amsterdam area at a wide range of urban projects regarding public space, urban developments and infrastructural connections and facilities (bus, bicycles, ferry, hubs) As Partner/Senior Architect of an internationally renowned architecture bureau, I have worked on a wide variety of design projects across many different fields. Apart from this I set up and developed the organization of the company and was responsible for finance, legal, liability, riskmanagement, human resources, and recruiting. In these roles I developed a broad range of hands-on managerial and practical skills. Advisor Risk & Projectmanagement
As Advisor Risk management I advise a wide range of projects within the city, regarding process, organization, planning and financial control. I’ am involved in the projectmanagement of a mobility hub consisting of parking facilities, an international bus terminal, taxi drop off, kiss and ride etc. with commercial and social facilities and three football fields and other sportfacilities at it’s roof. The so called Smart Mobility Hub is one of the biggest in it’s kind and enables to free space for a housing development of about 5000 apartments. The sportfacilities will be open for organized and unorganized groups and individuals. Realised or still running include: Public space of Kinkerstraat, Kalverstraat, Frans-Hals neighborhood, Hugo de Groot neighborhood, Sluisbuurt, Koninginneweg, Overlanden park, Gaasperplas park, Oosterpark. Infra-structure: Underwater bicycle station central station (‘ De entree’ ) several bicycle routes, ferry connection Sluisbuurt- Sporenburg. Next to my managerial tasks I was involved and responsible for a variety of projects of which I prefered complex issues regarding planning, infra structure and sustainable transformation most.In response to a growing and more complex practice I expanded and professionalized the departments I set up earlier.
