Responsible for developing the Blow Molding Product Line For Serac Inc North and South America

Key Project Leader in developing and commercializing new packages and existing bottle improvements. Technical liaison between sales and customers on new business development and projects: Manage all technical aspects of multi-phased plastic bottle development projects from inception, planning, design through manufacturing output. Interact with internal designers, engineers and customers to develop functional blow molded containers. Interact with customers on design and product use. Provide instruction to Tooling Engineers for the construction of molds and change parts for blow mold lines. Coordinate specifications, mold start-ups and qualifications according to customer requirements – includes unit and production molds. Provide project documentation including timelines, data summaries, approvals and customer correspondence. Analyzed, diagnosed and implemented corrective and preventive solutions to quality issues through process development.

Provided a safe working environment for all employees and chaired a very active role in the plant safety program. Oversaw the plant operations included but not limited to production, quality, maintenance, safety and administrative affairs. Supervised and coached 8 mechanic and 2 engineers in a high-speed production environmentControl R&M spending within restated budget. Utilize the project management system to drive plant projects. Responsible for providing strong technical guidance and leadership to staff of skilled maintenance personnel. Drove cost reduction programs. Coordinated product launches and ensured customer specs and deadlines were met.ensure preventive maintenance, repair, facilities maintenance, environmental and building security issues are addressed on a timely and proactive basis. Ensure all production machines are running at maximum efficiency. initiate corrective, preventive and continuous improvement opportunities through defined/documented channels and actively participate in developing, implementing and verifying corrective and improvement actions. Implement and facilitate training programs for all maintenance personnel and machine operators. Facilitate spare parts program and use of the SAP program.

Supported the US and Mexico plants with the development and execution of corporate projects, such as, new product qualifications, new machinery installation and run-off’s, mold trials, machinery overhauls and productivity enhancement.Developed, implemented and standardized process control systems, world-class PM programs, SMED techniques, and best practices across the different plants. Analyzed, diagnosed and implemented corrective and preventive solutions to mechanical and quality issues.
