This included defining requirements, working with the team in the UK on the design, and ensuring the UK team delivered the product on schedule. In addition, I was also responsible for end testing and certification of the component.During this time, I also designed and developed a SNMP agent for Windows NT that interfaced with NCR's server management offering for its mid range (343x, 345x, 35xx) systems. This component provided access to hardware specific information (such as temperature, fan speed, processor board status, etc) of the NCR platform via SNMP, as well as could forward alerts via SNMP traps. This component was used by the network management application with the plugin described above in order to allow NCR customers to fully manage the system.
