Oversight of planning and execution of all US Navy and NATO operations in Europe and Africa including NATO operational headquarters for Kosovo, Bosnia-Herzegovina, Operation ALLIED PROVIDER (counter-piracy operations) near Somalia, the three component commands under the Headquarters, and NATO’s Training Mission, Iraq; coordinated efforts of two 600-person staffs and five 500-person subordinate organizations; attended and reported on topics discussed with Prime Ministers, Ambassadors, and Defense Secretaries.
