Harold has served as a leader in various operational areas for more than 29 years at Humana. Currently, Harold leads Humana’s cost containment area focusing on fraud, waste and abuse. This area includes pre and postpay datamining, medical record reviews, SIU, subrogation, code edit, vendor management and related provider services. Under Harold’s leadership, the cost containment organization received recognition from an outside consulting firm as having a world class Payment Integrity program. Harold has also achieved a greater than 90% percentile Kenexa score for associate engagement in his organization. Harold received his Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting from Bellarmine University and is a Certified Public Accountant.
