My most recent experience is working in the water chemicals industry as a Supervisor in the production department. My previous experience was in three lethal process units (Hydrogen Cyanide, Ammonia Recovery and Acetone Cyanohydrin). I trained for the Control board using a simulator and the field jobs by making rounds with reading sheets for the areas and P&ID’s. Conducted walk downs of the process loops with isometric drawings to ensure accuracy to the as built drawings. Conducted pre startup commissioning work to ensure that process equipment was ready for startup using safe fluid testing measures. Successfully started and ran the three units at their prospective name plate rates.10 yrs. Board operator experience: Trained new board operators in the CCR10 yrs. Field operator experience: Trained new operators in the field jobs12 yrs. ERT experience: to include Hazmat Technician, Industrial Fire Brigade Advanced Exterior, Confined Space and High Angle Rescue (Trainers Certificate) and EMR.5 yrs. Relief Supervisory experience: over 6 process units and Site Services with 19 direct reports.2 yrs. Relief Cyanides Specialist. Served as the Cyanides Safety Proctor during all plant outages: Auditing lock outs, conducting safety audits on both contract and company employees, conducting vessel entry pre entry discussions as well as developing site confined rescue plans for all confined spaces in the process area. I also managed the lockout room during all plant outages.
