Develop and lead a group of strategic instructional specialists, and a team of business development strategists, in an effort to support Field Sales by exceeding revenue targets and sustaining long term relationships with key leaders around the country to ensure strong implementation health, and residual account growth. This is to be accomplished through networking, understanding a district’s DNA, strategy meetings, conferences and/or other forums, and includes facilitating comprehensive discussions with key customers and potential customers with targeted Scholastic strategy and content colleagues.

Led a team of Strategists and Data Analysts. The strategic team nurtured high level relationships that resulted in large scale sales opportunities and partnerships. The data analysts created and delivered presentations designed to show instructional growth gaps that were present in targeted districts, as well as presenting the data from our instructional resources for proof of effectiveness and implementation modifications. This role also entailed leading the organizational partnership efforts (ie- School Superintendents Association, Council of Great City Schools, National Association of Black School Educators, Council of Chief State School Officers, etc..)

Led in the development and management of strategic partnerships for the Intervention Solutions Group. These relationships resulted in more visibility and access to our resources by customers, and allowed our group to significantly increase our market penetration in select districts around the country. Also facilitated high level exploratory meetings, mentored, and thought partnered with various educational leaders around the country. I was also charged with developing a strategic growth model for struggling territories, and business units, within the Education Group.

Led a team of 3 Regional Directors and 20 Account Executives in the East Region (from Florida to Maine) charged with successfully positioning our intervention solutions . Designed a strategic plan that was built based on a continuous 3 year growth model, involving identified strategic accounts, state performance data, six degrees of separation, and targeted outreach. We exceeded goal in each of the 2 years.

Managed a team of 6 Account Executives in the Northeast Region of the U.S. The region exceeded goal in each of my three years in the role. This success was due to continuously developing and nurturing high level district relationships that led to strong sales and multiple year implementations.
