Hal holds a BS from the Air Force Academy and an MS from the University of Southern California. His 26 year career in the USAF was highlighted by being a distinguished graduate of pilot training and the Air War College, several operational flying assignments, staff postings with major air commands and the Joint Chiefs of Staff and Commander of the 24th Composite Wing and the USAF Southern Air Division in Panama.Upon completing his Air Force career, he continued in aviation related businesses to include DynCorp General Manager of the Department of State INL air wing; President, DynAir Fueling providing fueling services to airlines across the US; and President, Thyssen Stearns Airport Equipment Co manufacturing passenger boarding bridges for airlines and airports and President, BJAerospace LLC. As Director of Business Development for Alliant TechSystems Special Mission Aircraft growing the company from $18 to $100M in four years. He also has extensive experience as a military pilot, civilian pilot and aircraft owner.
