In vibration testing, the fasteners survived 300k cycles (10X the aerospace requirement). The reusability of the fastener is important when considering the life cycle of the product. In separate testing, we have cycled the product’s application and removal 250 times. The preload variance of the fastener is comparable to a Huck bolt (5.6% for a 1/2"bolt). The fastener's locking mechanism remains engaged even with loss of preload.Enduralock has invented a new type of access panel fastening system. With current systems, a floating retaining ring on the bolt is utilized. This retaining ring can bind and break causing FOD. Enduralock incorporates a much more robust fixed position conical retaining ring, which greatly reduces the chance of breakage.
