Responsible for management, maintenance and optimization of all company’s producing properties. In charge of all facets of daily field, disposal and pipeline operations including controlling capital cost while minimizing LOE without compromising operational or environmental integrity. Worked with E&P staff and land department to develop drilling prospects and with production/operation engineers and field personnel to estimate, propose and carry out workovers and recompletions (manage over 100 employees and consultants). Designed and installed several disposal systems including the facility, gathering lines and transfer pumps to extend the life of some of our core properties. Proficient in completion techniques including Plug & Perf, Stem-sleeves, swell packers. Also, skilled in facility design and operations together with a working knowledge of artificial and assisted lift methods including rod/jet pumps, gas lift, ESP’s, plunger lift and others.Oversaw the selection and execution of data capture software (Wellview and Merrick) for better tracking of both drilling and production operations. Also implemented XSPOC engineering software over a SCADA system which can be directly accessed by the engineers. Utilization of this system dramatically reduced downtime by identifying problems quicker than conventional (drive-by) methods. The XSPOC system along with Variable Drive Units dramatically decreased failures by providing continuous runtime analysis of the equipment allowing pumping units to automatically slow down or speed up based on current parameters. The SCADA system decreased hazardous conditions through pro-active alerting of abnormalities or spills that may be missed visually. Also, this system was utilized to reduced cost by analyzing production and cost trends, calculating profit/loss data, as well as associated KPI’s.

Responsible for drilling, completion, workover and day-to-day operations of all offshore and several onshore properties. Managed the reconstruction of platforms and production facilities damaged or destroyed in the Gulf by Hurricane Lili. Developed D&C procedures for Cotton Valley, Travis Peak and Haynesville assets; and Improved production of shallow shale gas sands in Kentucky.
