• As a preventive therapist, I work with families who have ACS involvement or feel that they need help with their children. As a therapist, the services I provide are the following:
• Evaluate and implement CPP intervention model treatment to families with children (0-5 years old) who have experiencedtraumatic event(s)
• Conduct assessment including review of referral information, identify and engage key participants in the family system
• Complete Psychosocial Assessments for all families
• Provide families with psychoeducation around child development, trauma, and mental health
• Coordinating and maintaining contact with workers at the Administration for Children’s Services

• Administered trauma-focused therapy to families.
• Provided client-centered victim advocacy support children, siblings, and non-offending parents.
• Made effective referrals and linkages to trauma-focused mental health treatment and other services when warranted.
• Actively participated in case planning and case review.
• Collaborated with NYPD and ACS to inform the investigations.
