I am responsible for editing video materials to produce a wide range of products including public service announcements, documentaries and presentations for both internal use and international broadcasting. My work involves the design and production of complex video and graphics animations, color and sound correction and the final mastering of each video. As a cameraman I travel throughout the Region to capture high definition video footage and interviews relevant to the Organization and its member countries, other UN Agencies and various partners. As a field producer, I work with local authorities and am responsible for coordinating filming schedules, defining priorities, editing in the field, always ensuring the safety of our crew. My work requires direct interaction and discussion with internal and external clients to define their needs and to propose technical and creative solutions for delivering public health messages in the fastest, most efficient and most effective way. During my tenure with the Pan American Health Organization I have travel extensively throughout Latin America and the Caribbean as well as to Europe and South-East Asia, gaining and deepening my experience in public health–related issues.As a photographer I am responsible for taking, processing, editing and delivering the highest quality photographic material from field missions. This material is later used in posters, campaigns, books, web pages, and public health events, and it is shared with WHO Geneva.
