I’m a fortunate guy born and raised in peaceful and paradisiac Costa Rica, there I studied Industrial Engineering and learned to apply science, mathematics, and engineering methods to complex systems and operations; while absorved knowledge and developed skills in a wide variety of disciplines, the ability to work well with people, and a broad, systems perspective. I started working on Medical Devices 2 decades ago, since then I’ve been putting my knowledge, skills and common sense in action to improve systematic processes through the use of statistical analysis, interpersonal communication, design, planning, quality control, operations management, computer simulation, and problem solving.I currently live in Santa Clara, California, the heart of Silicon Valley; a dreamlike place known to be a very abundant environment, an economic epicenter with the greatest density of creative intellectual technical talent on the planet. Here the time goes fast doing what I love doing; collaborating with very interesting people, helping the brightest minds and industry gurus to develop their oddest ideas into real life-changing devices.Outside work along with my wife, we are dedicated to our most rewarding project: raising two amazing kids in a healthy, multicultural, diverse, progressive and liberal environment.
