PVWC was a holding of the American Water Works C based in Voorhees, New Jersey. PVWC provides potable water service to approximately 4,700 service connections (approximately 10,000 persons) in portions of the City of Scottsdale, Town of Paradise Valley and unincorporated areas of Maricopa County. PVWC’s sole source of supply is groundwater pumped from six wells. PVWC owns and operates a groundwater treatment plant which removes volatile organic compounds from the water prior to delivery to customers. I was accountable for the development, management, and operation of facilities and personnel engaged in the production, treatment, distribution, and conservation of potable water.
