From 30 years of professional experience, I led security operations teams to assess, control, and mitigate risks on national and international critical infrastructure facilities (Dams, pipelines, mining areas, headquarters, etc) in complex and uncertain environments. For more than 15 years, I actively participated in the development of social programs by uniting public and private entities to improve the quality of life of the vulnerable Colombian population. I am an expert in Geopolitical, Economic, Diplomatic, and Military strategic analysis to address topics associated with private security, management of intergovernmental relations, and mitigation of risks from menaces such as drug trafficking, illegal mining, extortion, and kidnapping. I have expertise in providing options regarding enterprise security risk management (ESRM), senior executives' protection, and crime prevention through environmental design (CPTED).My professional overseas career was spent in the role of international advisor in Germany and the United States, attending the Special Forces, Civil Affairs, and Psychological Operations Course at the John F. Kennedy Special Warfare Center and School (SWCS) in Fort Bragg, North Carolina. The United Nations Staff Officer Course at the German Armed Forces Staff and Command College, in Hamburg, Germany, and the Terrorism and Security Studies Program at the George C. Marshall European Center for Security Studies, in Garmish, Germany. I established security and special operations training programs for the Military Forces in Central and South American countries.Consequently, I have directed my efforts on high management positions by saving 1/3 on administrative expenses by modernizing 100% of defense equipment.
