The Committee for Safe and Secure Elections features cross-partisan experts in election administration and law enforcement who aim to support policies and practices that protect election workers and voters from violence, threats, and intimidation. The Committee also works to build relationships and trust between election officials and law enforcement to better equip both to prevent and respond to threats and violence against voters and election workers.

The Downtown Detroit Partnership is a private/public partnership of corporate and civic leaders that supports, advocates, and develops programs and initiatives that create a clean, safe, inviting and economically strong Downtown Detroit community. The Director of Safety and Security focuses on the development and implementation of coordinated public/private safety and security initiatives in Downtown Detroit; consistently working to expand DDP’s Safety and Security program and to assist in strengthening its collaborative partnerships between Downtown and neighboring districts.

Commander-Commercial Vehicle Enforcement Division (2010 - 2013) Statewide administrative oversight and leadership in the areas of commercial vehicle enforcement, federal compliance reviews and investigations, school bus inspections, and commercial vehicle training for state, county, and local officers. 2nd District Commander (2008 - 2010) Administrative oversight of State Police operations for St. Clair, Oakland, Macomb, Wayne, Washtenaw, and Monroe Counties, including just under 400 personnel, seven post and numerous multi-jurisdictional tasks forces. Co-chair of Advocates and Leaders for Police and Community Trust (ALPACT), public information officer, incident commander for numerous critical incidents, high profile investigations, planned major events.Other previous assignments include section commander at Emergency Management and Homeland Security Division, Adrian Post commander, Groveland Post commander, Metro North Post assistant commander, Detroit Post platoon commander, Motorcycle Unit commander, specialist sergeant and origin and cause investigator at MSP Fire Marshall Division, detective sergeant at Detroit Post, desk sergeant Paw Paw Post, physical training and defensive tactics instructor at Training Division , Trooper at Niles Post
