OVERVIEW:Retired Chief of Police with a lifetime of experience in law enforcement, including my previous position as Captain of the Organized Crime division within the Collier County Sheriff’s Office. Throughout my career II have built a consistent record of achievements and key contributions across multiple areas – through both team leadership and individual efforts. Along with my industry background, I have a diverse set of skills that are applicable to numerous organizations and environments, with an emphasis on strategic planning, team direction, and complex problem-solving. I foster open, diverse, purpose driven environments where free thinkers flourish.One of the areas from my background that I am most proud of is the positive impact I have had on my assigned units and organizations as a whole. In my position as Captain of the Organized Crime division, I spearheaded several initiatives that had far-reaching effects beyond their initial objectives. In response to the growing opiod problem I devised a program that was then modeled and replicated on a nationwide scale. In preparation for the first local wiretap operation of its kind in the county, I personally built the wire room, due to lack of funds, that is now a permanent part of the division. I am always looking for ways to improve existing programs and processes so that organizations can gain both immediate and long-term benefits.Most importantly, I am a coach and leader who can inspire team members to reach and surpass goals. Employees are of course the lifeblood of any law enforcement or security operation, and I place the highest premium on training, coaching, and motivating teams to reach their top potential.I am a tireless, servant and organizational leader
