Mr. Kessler led Barrier’s restructuring practice and was also involved in the firm’s corporate restructuring and corporate finance practices. Mr. Kessler brings over 20 years of lending experience including significant experience in restructuring loans, workouts, liquidations, wind-downs and originations. His transaction experience includes work across numerous industry sectors.Mr. Kessler is currently serving as the interim President and Chief Restructuring Officer of a global pharmaceutical company and is acting as Plan Administrator and Trustee of the FC Term Lenders Liquidating Trust. Mr. Kessler is also managing the bankruptcy, asset sales and wind-down of Amcast Industrial Corporation, the wind-down of Thayer Aerospace Consolidated, Inc., and is overseeing the liquidation and foreclosure of the assets of a poultry processor. Previously Mr. Kessler led the sale of a designer and manufacturer of porcelain collectibles, managed the wind-down and asset sales of Acme Packaging Corporation and of Prime Succession, Inc., led the Situation Assessment and sale of First Mortgage Notes collateralized by convenience stores in Florida. Additionally Mr. Kessler led the refinancing of a business process outsourcing provider and also led several pre-lending due diligence engagements over the last several years. Mr. Kessler is a member of the Association of Insolvency and Restructuring Advisors, Association for Corporate Growth, Turnaround Management Association, the American Bankruptcy Institute and the Southwest Chapter of the Commercial Finance Association. Mr. Kessler holds a Bachelors degree in Finance and Marketing from Adelphi University. Mr. Kessler is also a Certified Insolvency and Restructuring Advisor (CIRA).
