He is a graduate of the University of Santo Tomas (UST) where he earned a Bachelor of Science in Psychology in 2008. He is an M.A. candidate in Clinical Psychology at UST Graduate School and is also serving his term as the President of the UST-Association of Thomasian Psychology Alumni, Inc. He is a co-convenor of the Thomasian Mental Health Responders (TMHR) who has served more than 4,000 Filipinos since March 2020, by providing psychosocial support due to the COVID-19 Pandemic.In 2012, he presented his research entitled: “Descriptive -Correlational Study: School Stress, Emotional Intelligence, and Academic Performance among Selected Fifth Graders” at the Universiti Malaysia Sabah.He has been in the field of education for 13 years and worked as a Guidance Counselor in three different schools before he entered the classroom as a teacher and class adviser. In 2008 he started his career in the academe as a Guidance Counselor at Claret School of Quezon City and went back to his alma mater in Malolos, Bulacan in 2011. He worked as an intermediate Guidance Counselor at the Immaculate Conception School for Boys. After 2 school years, he went back to Quezon City to finish his MA’s academic workload and worked as a Guidance Counselor at PAREF Northfield School for Boys, wherein he occupied various posts.He has been invited to speak about Bullying, Child Protection Policy, Digital Citizenship, Character Education, Student Leadership, Mental Health and other related topics.He is the current head of the Personal Formation Department, a Research teacher in the Senior High School level, head of the Guidance Office, and a mentor at PAREF Northfield School for Boys, a mental health advocate and a Certified Wealth Planner and Estate Planner.
