• Price up jobs to commercial rates whilst remaining competitive; assess project requirements.• Manage suppliers from obtaining quotations through to project delivery.• Review supplier quotes and propose a preferred supplier / subcontractor to the project team based on price, quality and delivery against client criteria and specification.• Assist the Project Design Lead with design parts / phases of bigger projects.• Prepare and update technical documents, RAMS, and other required documents to project and client specifications.• Build client relationship and maintain client satisfaction.• Service multiple customers concurrently, meeting deadlines• Ensure customers receive products and services right first time.• Develop a good understanding of the businesses’ products and services to be able to identify how they will best address the problems customers are seeking to solve.• Liaise with clients and suppliers to develop and maintain excellent relations.• Maintain effective communication and regular project progress update with the client.• Brief in engineers (inc. subcontractors) on a project before project commencement.• Ensure the client receives a cost-effective service.• Ensure clients comply with all agreed payment terms and contractually agreed conditions.• Efficiently communicate with other departments about project delivery particulars, and commercial and project milestones.• Ensure all close out processes are completed for customer jobs and services, including timely invoicing and payment. • Co-ordinate customers’ project requirements from order to completion and agree commercial and technical standards. • Liaise with directly employed site engineers and sub-contractors on projects as and when required.• Efficiently manage a programme of works for projects from start to finish; anticipating problems before they occur and rectifying problems promptly, confidently and thoroughly when they do occur.

• Converting Airedale’s native CAD files then packaging and distributing in the correct file formats.• Packaging and distributing Bills of Material (BoM) to the relevant plants.• Packaging, distributing, and creating build information where required.• Sharing job pack information including works instruction sheets, serial plates, and declaration of conformities.• Sharing specifications and data of bought in components.• Sourcing alternative, equivalent specification components to aid procurement in all locations.• Working closely with the procurement team to help with harmonising Kanban systems.• Sharing Airedale processes and standard operating procedures.• Resolving queries from the receiving plant on product design, build, inspection, and testing.• Creating process flow maps, documenting transfer procedures, and developing these following continuous improvement methodologies.• Compiling checklists and templates based on product type, to allow the transfer process to be repeated efficiently.• Use technical and industry knowledge to reduce material costs of products.• Understand component design and seek cost effective alternatives.• Design out product quality concerns and minimise product lifecycle costs.• Work closely with the design engineer to analyse new prototypes with a view to ensuring there is an efficient relationship between the design and production process.• Review existing manufacturing production lines and plan cost-effective production processes.• Aid in the design and maintenance of standard product ranges, this could be mechanical, electrical, or controls-based work.• Produce GA drawings.• Liaise with manufacturing and production to ensure design specifications are met.
