NYHQ is a member of the prestigious group of hospitals New York Presbyterian Healthcare System and an affiliated hospital of Weill Cornell Medical College. It is a 519 bedded, state of the art hospital with all major specialties. The Trude Weishaupt Memorial Satellite Dialysis Center maintains one of the largest programs for renal replacement therapy in the USA. I was a part of the team working on multiple Multicenter Clinical Trials, as a Study Coordinator. My responsibilities included assisting physical examination with the attending nephrologists for the study patients. I was also working on In-House Research projects where my responsibilities included extracting data from the electronic patient record, arranging and analyzing the data through Microsoft Excel and SPSS. I used to read up research papers related to the research projects, compose the manuscript for Internal Review Board and arrange the references. I used to attend the weekly departmental clinical conference regularly.
