Dr. Haroon Abbu is the Senior Vice President of Digital, Data & Analytics at Bell and Howell. An accomplished leader with over 20 years of industry experience in leading technology-enabled business transformation using digital technologies and advanced data analytics. He has successfully built analytics teams ground up; spearheaded the next-gen analytics products and service capabilities powered by IoT, machine learning, and advanced analytics to drive service efficiencies and data monetization. An executive with strong data analytics, business strategy, and team-building skills, Haroon is known for his exceptional ability to derive business value by implementing and integrating enterprise data applications and streamlining processes and tools to continually improve operational efficiencies. In addition, he has successfully implemented and managed all aspects of global sales and commercial operations including sales processes, sales enablement, performance analytics, pricing, deal desk, pre-sales engineering, ROI development, contract/order management, and sales compensation.Haroon is a certified Six Sigma Master Black Belt and a Project Management Professional. An Industrial Engineer (BS in IE + MS in Engineering Management) with an MBA, and an executive doctoral degree with a dissertation focused on managing physical-to-digital convergence and business transformation. Haroon brings together world-class research in partnership with NC State University and Germany’s RWTH Aachen University to advance thought leadership on digital leadership. He is a frequent keynote speaker and a panelist at various industry events and has published his work in business magazines and scholarly journals.
