Software Engineer
Current•Designed, implemented, integrated and commercialized Android audio framework and hardware abstraction layer user-space modules on Qualcomm’s Snapdragon processor that meets specific performance, latency, power robustness, and stability metrics.•Developed software support to deploy Qualcomm AI-based audio solution. Performed requirement analysis, software maintenance, and troubleshooting of audio applications, framework, and drivers. •Performed Qualcomm proprietary middleware software code migration to next-gen SoC platform, e.g. HIDL to AIDL migration, Factory Test Mode module, DisplayPort support.•Fixed bugs raised during internal testing along with customer testing. Coding work involved Java in Android Framework layer, and C/C++ in native Android Framework layer, Qualcomm proprietary middleware software layer, and Linux Audio Driver.•Managed 20+ Developer Farm Machines(PC host machines with Post Silicon Devices and peripherals connected) to make remote accesses possible during/post Pandemic. Prepared workflow, in-hand manipulation training materials and hosted meeting to train other developers. Provided weekly/monthly use stats and trend reports for managers and leads to estimate future generation Post-Silicon SoC device resource allocation.
