Before commencing a 15-year management career in start-up and mature, high-growth organisations, I was an Engineer in the Royal Australian Air Force. Taking key learnings into the commercial sector, I live by two mantras, ‘trust your instincts’ and ‘win for the business’. With this approach, I have been able to strengthen enterprise performance while building team-centred, highly engaged cultures that sustain and propel long-term growth. Since 2002, I have forged a reputation as a logical, calm and confident business, sales and project leader. Joining payroll software specialist FIO Consulting in 2003, I led the design and development of solutions that continually exceeded client expectations and supported the growth of the business. My move into general management came in 2011 with Your Client Matters where in just 18 months, I increased business profitability by 56% via the design and deployment of a focused continuous improvement program. I continued this path with Squiz as Business and General Manager of the multimillion-dollar NSW business, and over a 5-year tenure, delivered considerable sales and profit growth while maximising employee engagement and customer satisfaction. In 2019 I branched out establishing Pivot Analytics a data and analytics consultancy with the mission to make data accessible to everyone. Pivot Analytics has seen the confluence of the years of IT and data experience, with the joining of search and data together to power our solutions.With strong interpersonal skills, I build and inspire teams of people through honest, open communication and dependable leadership. Calm under pressure, I’m the go-to person in a crisis and the leader that customers trust to solve their issues and meet evolving business needs.
