-Learned and analyzed how Kohl's utilizes its distribution network, supply chain, distribution methods and different technological efforts to efficiently move merchandise from the different coasts of the United States to its distribution and fulfillment centers and effectively divides up materials and merchandise to ship out to its stores. -In the 10 week internship program, spent the first 5 weeks working with Operations Supervisors from all 4 departments of the building (Receiving, Flat (jewelry and audit corrections), Pack-to-light (customizing large bulk of merchandise to smaller quantities for individual stores), and Shipping), also worked with Operations Managers to better learn the entire functions of the building. -In the final 5 weeks of the internship assigned to work in the Shipping Department and worked closely with the shipping supervisor and the operations manager to lead the department with 110 shipping doors and over 20-30 associates. -Duties included, leading start-up meetings (assigning doors assignments, target units/hr and cartons/hr, and giving analysis of the work done from the shift before and the day before), running hourly status reports, communicating and motivating associates, providing feedback and conducting coaching's, communicating on the flow of cartons with other departments, conducting end of shift meetings and etc. -Spent some time at the Kohl's E-commerce and Fulfillment Center, learning about the processes involved behind Kohl's e-commerce business and spent 1 week at Kohl's corporate headquarters in Milwaukee, WI and heard from the corporate and senior leaders of the Kohl's distribution and E-comm business. -Analyzed leadership styles, associate engagement, effective communication and operational opportunities in the building.-Presented a internship midpoint report and a final presentation highlighting observations, project, opportunities, and analysis gathered to the building leaders and regional directors.

-Worked on infrastructure developments and resource allocation for the entire library. -Built a strong inventory record of all of the properties and technical equipment of the library. -Helped enhance the work environment of the library staff by assisting with technology updates and support.
