The idea behind Dialexa Labs is to develop internal products or services that could spin out new companies. To date we've spun out two companies: Robin and Vinli. Previously I was in charge of Operations at 2GO Software Solutions in Plano, TX. We built software for rugged mobile devices (kind of like the UPS/Fedex guys carry and you sign). We did Proof of Delivery like Fedex package tracking, Field Service which is like electronic work orders, and Direct Store Delivery which is field distribution software. We did work for some of the largest companies in the US. A friend and I built CharityFusion.com as a project to allow people to donate money to charities for free. Browser Plug-ins, Toolbars, Facebook applications etc. It was a pretty interesting project.
