About Mark Harrell
Since graduating from Purdue University with a degree in Technology Education I have made it my mission to prepare K-12 students for the STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math) workforce. I started my career teaching HS students the value of STEM skills at Bryan Station HS. Moving on I worked at Franklin Co Career and Tech Center before transitioning to District STEM Coordinator and then accepted a position as Director of School Engagement with Project Lead The Way. I then transitioned to the role of Engineering Technology Consultant at the Kentucky Department of Education within the Office of Career and Technical Education where I also managed the Technology Student Association (TSA) within the Commonwealth of Kentucky. I am currently ITEEA's Director of the STEM Center for Teaching & Learning where we empower teachers and students to reach their full STEM potential.
