I lead a small, cross-cutting function within Wellcome's Culture, Equity, Diversity and Inclusion (CEDI) team. We inform and strengthen CEDI activity with emerging practice, metrics and learning, and translate these insights into action​.We achieve this in three ways:Scanning, sensing and discovery - Learning from EDI practice across sectors, industries.

• Working to develop collaborations and projects which advance equity for communities building, using and affected by the technologies Wellcome funds, and helping to address the question: How can work towards Wellcome's.
• Partnerships with funders, governmental bodies and NGOs towards equitable data and research practice.
• Providing equity, inclusion and ethics insight to colleagues working on data related projects.
• Designing and commissioning research, grant funding.
