Carry out demand -driven technical assistance by- training on improved business practices to farm businesses, farmer organizations and other value chain businesses, including but nit limited to, processors , aggregators and buyers in the ADVANCE agricultural value chain.-Employ appropriate technical strategies and methodologies to achieve maximum benefit towards short and long term goals. That includes;1; facilitate with firms owning and leading the process, new business methods and technology adoption and other innovations that improve firms performance to compete in the market place.2; Encourage inter- firm relationships where they own and lead the process, that enhance value chain performance between business and trading partners.-Technical assistance also includes but not limited to crop budget, annual farm budget, long term improvements plans , investment benefit/cost analysis, breakeven analysis, bank loan proposals, computer training etc.-Assess the profitability of commodity using market trends( domestic and international commodity prices, local and global demand and supply situation) as well as commodity crop budget and enterprise budget for service providers to assess its profitability.

As a technical assistant my duties includes but not limited to-organizing training programs such as trainings on good agronomic practices, chemical usage and handling, post harvest handling etc. for rice value chain actors across the country.-conducted and monitored rice demonstration fields in the country.
