Working directly for the Head of Corporate Communications delivering marketing, communication and PR services to the Executive team and wider business. Ensuring the delivery of the Company strategy in relation to corporate reputation, employer branding and market diversification. Direct responsibility for a number of key functions within communications, including;• creation of press releases and liaising with press contacts• event management including budget responsibility and analysing return on investment, for example the Whitehaven Festival, Cumbria • brand promotion and management • internal communication including writing, editing and the graphic design of the in-house publication Noticeboard• creative design using InDesign• working with the international Nuvia Group to ensure brand consistency and effective collaboration tools for employees• support to conferences and exhibitions liaising with the public and clients Other duties include:• liaising with key government and international clients to ensure approvals are granted for the use of project references and press items• knowledge management through key company systems • provision of training to colleagues on the use of company systems• support to the tendering team through graphic design as well as the writing and collating of pre-qualification and tender questions• Administrative tasks include raising of purchase orders, invoicing and purchase card transactions

• Commissioned to photograph estate and grounds (2007)• Assisting with the Marketing of new business venture at Belmont Hall (2010)

Technical skills such as: • helping with compositions, lighting, reflectors and flash set-up • in studio and location shots i.e. beach location and studio based shooting and commercial restaurant locations
