I'm proud to volunteer as an Accredited Nutritionist at The Trussell Trust, Stroud. So far my work has included:🍎Rewriting and creating recipe cards to improve nutritional value and nutrition information. Recipe creation for ingredients with surplus food donations.🍌Review the current food shopping list to improve the nutritional value of the food parcels🍊Review food parcel contents for people with special dietary requirements for religious or medical reasons. 🥑Work with the local community to gain customer feedback and improve the service. 🥕Review food and recipe recommendations for people with reduced cooking access. For example, only a kettle, microwave or hob.🍓Content Creation - articles, blogs, infographics, posters, handouts🍍Support donation campaigns from the general public.🥦Reduce food waste with helpful tips.During my time working with the volunteers at Stroud Food Bank it's been an absolute pleasure watching the immense amount of compassion, diligent hard work and friendly service they provide to their community. I look forward to doing my bit to stop UK Hunger and help local people in crisis.

This is a Student Placement Year. During my time here I have worked in Nutrition, new product development, social media and content management with some experience in B2B and B2C.My role as a Nutritionist and new product developer overlap quite closely. I am responsible for the accuracy of nutrition found not only on our website and selling channels but our labels too. I must ensure that all information found here is accurate, and not misleading. Adhering to EU regulation, and EFSA health regulations. Recently, I have developed US labels, therefore, I have had to learn the difficulties that go into making a regulation US supplement Label. During my time here I have launched over 20 products including, Methylcobalamin, Astaxanthin, Green Tea Ultra, OV Study Boost, OV Immune Boost and OV pregnancy Care, all of which have been popular sellers. Furthermore, I manage the Oxford Vitality Blog, we post an article every day on Health Topics that are popular in the news. In the first 6 months of my time here I had written over 80 well-researched articles.My role of content manager drives me towards the marketing side of the business, I am tasked with maintaining listings for our website, Amazon, Ebay, Etsy and Tesco channels for 150+ products. As a result, I also have the opportunity to market these. Using Social media such as Facebook, Instagram and Pinterest to do so. Another of my duties is to manage the social media channels with regular news, products and infographics. During my time at Oxford Vitality, I have set up their own Pinterest page, this has become very popular pulling in over 8.8k views a month at this current time.Another of my responsibilities is label changes. This may be small alterations such as batch numbers, best before dates, or large alterations such as ingredient changes. This has allowed me to learn new skills in adobe illustrator and photoshop.
