Famous for her infectious laughter and unstoppable energy, Harriet is Shimmy Shimmy Ya's Principal and Founder. Harriet discovered dance 32 years ago and hasn't stopped since. From winning a scholarship and performing all over the world (from New York, Paris and London to Berlin and Seoul) and performing with The Australian Ballet, Opera Australia, Chunky Move, Lucy Guerin Inc and Belvior St Theatre - dancing has always been in Harriet's blood.It was this passion for dance that led Harriet to create Shimmy Shimmy Ya: a mobile dance company, making it accessible for people to express themselves through movement.
