Broadcast Assistant at BBC Points West. My role included NTA (keeping each live news programme to time by the second), planning, floor managing and autocue operations, deploying camera crews.I worked this role whilst occasionally reporting as a TV journalist.

I produce features for BBC Introducing in the West which is aired across BBC Bristol, BBC Gloucestershire & BBC Wiltshire. I present the show when the main presenter is off - this includes presenting the West's Biggest Party - a music-based show which airs before BBC Introducing on the same stations.I left the programme for two years before returning in 2021.http://www.bbc.co.uk/programmes/p012bzts

I worked on the production of classical, world and jazz programming across BBC Radio 3's input including live OBs from gigs and concerts

I work with 2DW, a women-run audio production company, on a variety of projects including audio and podcast training, producing and presenting radio and podcasts. Projects include co-producing and presenting two series of Bristol Beacon's 'How To Build A Music Venue' podcast, documenting the various stages of the hall's £48.8 million transformation and training a local group to make podcasts.

I present and produce a podcast called Wannabe Greener, which aims to make more eco friendly lifestyles feel achievable and less intimidating.I also keep an instagram blog about the podcast and my journey.Both were influenced by me trying to make my workplace and home a more sustainable environment, taking small steps each day to change mine and others' habits.

I produced and presented various programmes, including on BCfm Radio including The Bristol Music Show - a programme dedicated to local music with interviews, live sessions and music news.I took a couple of years out to go travelling and move to New Zealand before returning in 2020.bcfmradio.com/bristolmusic

I volunteered with the station for many years, producing and presenting several shows and going on to co-manage a team of up to 180 volunteers on a daily basis, providing training and support in technical and editorial areas.BCfm Radio is a multi-award winning community radio station in Bristol.bcfmradio.com // 93.2fmThe first Community radio station in Bristol, it has in excess of 150,000 listeners who tune into its broadcasts each month and more than 25,000 'listen agains' for the same period.

I took a year out to live in Wellington, New Zealand, where I worked as a reporter and bulletins sub-editor for Radio New Zealand.This included reporting on air and for digital, subbing and compiling news bulletins.

As part of St George's Hall's The Listening Room series I hosted live sessions with established musicians showcasing new and unheard material. I interviewed the artists between songs, finding out more about their creative process and creating an intimate and unique way to watch a lunchtime concert.

Bristol Women in Music was an association working to raise awareness of the roles, issues, and successes of women within the music industry. In 2017 we hosted Sound Industry, the UK's first all-female run music conference with an emphasis on including and diversity. We aimed to create a sustainable presence throughout the South West, laying the foundation for a more accessible and equitable music industry for both men & women.

I produced and co-presented two series of this TV show for Made in Bristol TV and YouTube.The idea grew from our BCfm radio programme of the same name. My role included generating ideas for content, planning the timeline of each episode, writing script cues and overseeing all editing, as well as controlling social media and Youtube updates. I worked as a Freelance BA and Traffic & Travel Reporter for BBC Radio Bristol and BBC Somerset.

Based at The Station in Bristol city centre, I tutored two groups of young people in radio ranging from 12-19 years old. They learned presenting/interviewing and technical skills and together we produce weekly podcasts, based on issues and topics they choose, which are then available online at http://www.mixcloud.com/CreativeYouthNetwork.
