About Harriet Thompson

I founded Harriet’s Plants whilst studying plant science at the world-famous Eden Project in Cornwall. My passion for plants started with sowing and growing seeds, foraging hedgerows and getting my hands dirty.I am proud to say Harriets Plants is the only 100% peat free, pesticide free and virgin plastic free houseplant nursery in the UK and since setting up the business I now have a growing network of stockists that I supply with 100% British grown houseplants.I am a passionate, environmentally friendly grower and have put all my efforts into growing peat free, pesticide free, and plastic free houseplants for people all over the UK. Harriets plants focuses on excellent plant health, environmentally friendly plants and customer service, along with challenging the horticulture industry to do better for our much loved planet.
