- Championed the intrinsic link between climate, nature, economy, health, wellbeing, and inequity amongst colleagues and partners, encouraging cross cutting solutions that deliver multiple benefits- Secured funding from Gwent Public Services Board for Cynnal Cymru to deliver Eco Literacy Nature Wise training to a diverse range of people- Approached partner organisations and provided support for the necessary arrangements, liaising across NRW teams, to deliver nature related wellbeing activities (tree planting etc) on NRW land, to support reconnecting to nature- Contributed to development of Gwent PSB Wellbeing Plan and Newport and Blaenau Gwent Local Wellbeing Plans- Coordinated NRW achieving level 1 of Gwent Healthy Travel Charter (sustainable and active travel)- Contributed to Newport Environment Network (legacy of Green & Safe network), Newport Climate Champions group, and Newport Local Nature Partnership- Contributed to Newport and Blaenau Gwent Sustainable Food Partnerships

Working closely with Newport City Council, delivering the Green and Safe spaces intervention of One Newport Public Services Board Wellbeing Plan in line with the South East Wales Area Statement.- Facilitated a Network of 130+ across public, private, third sector and communities working towards shared goals of connecting people with nature and the Green and Safe spaces Vision that: Newport has healthy thriving ecosystems where all communities feel connected to nature and have easy access to safe, quality green and blue space for health, wellbeing, play and recreation.- Organised and facilitated regular Network workshops / sessions and other communications to draw all our work together and drive collaborative working- Encouraged and championed more Green Infrastructure / Nature based solutions across Newport and in the City Centre, including a feasibility study and securing a further £240k funding- Refreshed the vision, aims and actions in collaboration with partners to give a greater focus and direction- Regularly evaluated and reported progress, key achievements, risks, and opportunities

Project Support & PA within Public Health, Policy, International Health, and World Health Organisation Collaborating Centre on investment in Health and Wellbeing.- Personal Assistant to Dr Mariana Dyakova, Consultant in Public Health, International Health Lead and Deputy Director.- Supported Projects including: Evidencing Value to develop and pilot an approach to estimate the social, economic and environmental value (returns) of Pubic Health Wales investments using Social Return on Investment (SROI) methodology.- Supported COVID-19 response: contributing to data collection for public health engagement survey monitoring Health & Wellbeing during coronavirus measures, and contributing to international horizon scanning to inform Welsh Government and Public Health Wales decision making.

Promoting good health and wellbeing amongst tenants through creating several projects featuring digital inclusion, social activity, community gardening, falls prevention and physical exercise, with a model of strong partnership work. Connecting people back to their communities in a meaningful way that matters most to them, to empower people to lead happier and healthier lives.- I contributed significantly to the design and development of the Active Ageing model and approach.- I organised events, created, led and managed projects, managed volunteers, led on communications, created and edited our tenants magazine, managed Derwen’s social media & website. - I supervised and mentored new staff as part of the Pobl Academy. - Worked across departments e.g. with development to contribute to new builds. Part of Newport’s Green & Safe Spaces Network.- Involvement in wider equality across Pobl group e.g. LGBT+ inclusion, I organised Pobl to attend Pride Cymru. - Shared useful information to tackle loneliness and social isolation and promote wider campaigns affecting older people to raise awareness.

Within Derwen, social housing for people over 55 within Pobl Group, I engaged with tenants to improve our services based on their views, feedback and tenant profiling and insight. - Managed and facilitated tenant Scrutiny group, implemented changes to lettings process. - Encouraged all staff to embed engagement and service improvement across all departments and to action tenant feedback. - Project managed the annual tenants events attended by 200+. - Managed communications including tenant magazine and social media. - Networked and built partnerships to create new projects.

Tackled social isolation and connected vulnerable or socially isolated people back to their community through confidence building, setting goals or pursuing past or new interests. Preventing future ill health, poor wellbeing and reliance on social services. - I played a significant role in the initial set up and design of the Community Connector service for Newport, the service is still well established today. - I created and developed promotional materials and community directory, networked to create partnerships, presented to an array of organisations.- Produced evaluation of the impact of the service to secure continued funding. - Organised the annual 50+ Older People’s Information Event in 2014.

Case work, managing case load, home visits, carrying out assessments and reviews of care packages in the Adult Social Services team. Dealing with complex and sensitive situations with empathy. Administration, carrying out initial assessments, and responding to front line enquiries from an array of agencies and individuals, escalating urgent matters.

Line managed and supervised team of 3 Licensing Admin Officers, ensuring the efficient running of the service, mentored new staff, and developed and implemented training plans.
