I am a film marketer and filmmaker with over 15 years' experience in film and TV public relations in Australia and the US. I am currently the director of communications and business affairs at NIXCo, Australia's leading entertainment public relations agency and recently made the jump into filmmaking, co-producing an AFTRS Masters program short film, "The Stranger", from writer/director Jenny Hicks and starring Fiona Press, Harry Greenwood and Steve Bisley, and "Cactus" from writer/director Milena Bennet and writer/producer Harry Greenwood.At NIXCO, I develop and execute strategic communications campaigns for past and current clients such as Madman Entertainment, AFI | AACTA, Acorn TV, HOYTS, Animal Logic, Roadshow Films, Sony Pictures Australia, Universal Pictures Australia, Icon Films, Screen Australia, Ausfilm, Oz Comic-Con and Sculpture by the Sea; manage unit publicity campaigns for projects such as The Fall Guy, The Lost Flowers of Alice Hart, Colin From Accounts, Force of Nature and The Dry, Peter Rabbit 2, Babyteeth, The Gloaming, Wakefield and Diary of an Uber Driver; and manage a team of four.Previously, I served as publicist at Roadshow Films where I managed national publicity campaigns for the Australian and New Zealand release of film and TV product across the full life cycle from theatrical to home entertainment, including content from suppliers such as Warner Bros. Pictures, Village Roadshow Pictures, The Weinstein Company, Lionsgate, HBO, BBC and the ABC. I hold a Master of Arts in Strategic Public Relations from the University of Southern California's Annenberg School and a Bachelor of Arts (Media and Communications) from the University of Sydney. Whilst in Los Angeles, I interned at AFI Film Fest, PMK*BNC, Hulu, CBS Television and ID-PR.Career highlights include managing publicity tours for international films The Hateful Eight with Quentin Tarantino, Samuel L.
