- Voltage Collapse Transfer Studies Using python and PSSe 34, examined pre- and post-contingency system voltages across a major transmission interface at increasing transfer levels for a collection of emergency contingencies to build P-V curves and identify transfer limits for reliability (TLRs) for Voltage Collapse. Wrote a public-facing report and presented the results to NYISO stakeholders for approval. Currently validating the use of PowerGEM TARA to do the same study in the future.- Dynamic Stability Transfer Studies Using python and PSSe 34, examined bus frequency, voltage, and generator angle responses in the time domain across a few major transmission interfaces after emergency contingencies at varying transfer levels to identify the highest stable transfer limits for reliability (TLRs) for Dynamic Stability. Concerns include angle separation, protection schema activations, generation tripping offline. Wrote a public-facing report and presented the results to NYISO stakeholders for approval.- Voltage Support Service Administrator- Black Start Service Administrator- Seasonal Capacity & Reliability Assessments Representing the NYISO in bi-annual NERC and NPCC seasonal reliability assessments, tracked changes to generation capacity, scheduled transmission outages, load forecasts and emergency operating actions in MS Excel to write publicly available reports on the Summer/Winter reliability outlooks. Worked with the VP of Operations to create the NYISO seasonal capacity assessments presented to the board of directors, NYSRC-Executive Committee, and NYISO stakeholders.
