Harris is the Founder and Managing Partner of SOFYAN & SOFIAN LAW FIRM. He is an advocate and a legal consultant who holds a Bachelor of Law Degree from Pancasila University and a Master Degree in Law from Pelita Harapan University. He has experiences in Corporate Law, Land Law, and litigation both in criminal and civil case.He was previously employed by the Law Office ING & Partners where he gained experience as an advocate and a legal consultant. Whilst there, he was used to handle and give consultation for both individual clients and companies,especially for the State-Owned Enterprises (BUMN) in the field of industrial estate management, such as PT Kawasan Berikat Nusantara (Persero), PT Jakarta Industrial Estate Pulogadung (Persero), PT Kawasan Industri Medan (Persero), and PT Kawasan Industri Wijayakusuma (Persero). He had experience in providing assistance to PT Kawasan Industri Wijaya Kusuma (Persero) and also arranging the Technical Proposals of Legal Drafting for Agreements Uniformity for the State-Owned Enterprises in the field of industrial estate around Indonesia in 2017. He was also part of team in arranging law and business studies for land acquisition for Brebes Industrial Area as the National Strategic Project with an investment value of 12 trilion in 2021.Harris’ main areas of practice include Anti Trust Law and Commercial Regulation Law, Land Law, Natural Resources and Mining Law, Capital Markets Law, Investment Law, and Litigation Law.In addition to being an advocate dan a legal consultant, he is a member of the Indonesian Advocates Association (PERADI), Indonesian Competition Lawyers Association (ICLA), member of the Advocate Education and Training Field at Young Lawyers Committee (YLC), and Commissariat Administrator of Alumni of Law Faculty, Pancasila University.
