Very excited to be building a project converting hundreds of thousands of tons of animal waste into a carbon dioxide-sequestering material called biochar. Our goal is to contribute to the removal of over 100,000 metric tons of CO2 per year, by 2030. Fun stuff, but a pretty "crappy" business!Co-founded OneCause, a technology play to help charitable organizations raise funds. OneCause now has over 6,500 customers and surpassed the $6 BILLION mark in donations raised, in 2023. A worthy cause!Developed the first technology for airlines and hotels to deliver their frequent flier programs via the Internet. United Airlines and Marriott International took that leap of faith with me and it paid off for all. Founded and, with wife Diane, directed the Frequent Travel Marketing Association for 19 years. Most of the partnerships in the frequent flier programs of the airlines, hotels, rental car, charge card and other associates were developed during networking sessions of the FTMA.Have shelved a couple of other "worthy" projects, but hope to re-activate those, as soon as possible.And have had a couple of projects into which I put all possible efforts, but just couldn't make work. If AI had been advanced in 2015, one of those two would have been a homerun!But biggest achievement, to date, is my wonderful wife, four children, and seven grandchildren. Pura vida!
