I'm currently a dedicated student at Barnsley College University Centre, before that i was pursuing a (T Level) Technical Qualification in Digital Production, Design, and Development Software Development. My journey here has been marked by a relentless pursuit of technical knowledge and the development of practical skills, all with the aim of making a meaningful contribution to the digital industry.One significant milestone in my academic journey was an 45-day industry placement at an NHS Hospital, where I had the privilege of working in the Business Intelligence sector. In this role, I assumed the mantle of an Application Developer, focusing on the design and implementation of e-Forms for various departments within the hospital. This hands-on experience allowed me to bridge the gap between theoretical knowledge and practical application, making a real-world impact in the healthcare sector.My passion for technology and security led me to join The British Computing Society (BCS), a renowned professional body in the field. My association with BCS was further cemented when I achieved first place in the BCS Information Security Challenge. This accomplishment allowed me to apply my knowledge in safeguarding privacy and confidentiality of information, bolstering internet security, and meticulously considering technical, physical, and human vulnerabilities. It also honed my expertise in risk assessment and risk management, vital skills in the ever-evolving landscape of cybersecurity.As of now, I have successfully completed my T Level with a Merit, and I am eagerly stepping into higher education. My journey continues as I enroll in the Computing and Systems Development program for an HNC (Higher National Certificate). What sets this endeavor apart is my intention to specialize in cybersecurity. In 2024, I am set to embark on the next phase of my academic journey by pursuing an HND (Higher National Diploma) in the same domain.In summary, my academic and professional journey thus far has been driven by an insatiable curiosity for technology, a commitment to ethical practices, and a relentless pursuit of excellence.
