Contracted with Torchlite to share what I know about and train new developers on the platform, managed developers through code reviews to help enforce strong coding patterns, worked closely with management to understand the history and areas of complexity in the application, containerized the app to provide easier on-boarding of new developers, implemented.

Worked together with a small team using React, Express and Postgres to create the Torchlite platform. My responsibilities included data modeling for new features, writing integrations with asana, slack, intercom, trello, facebook and twitter, working with Innovatemap to create UI that matched design, wiring up the design to the API with optimism and state.

West Lafayette

Responsible for performing maintenance on 10,000+ high powered nodes used for cluster computing research at Purdue. Monitored nodes to make sure they were working as intended and would repair broken nodes to reduce the amount of downtime. Helped install new cluster computers in the Purdue data centers. Outside of hardware experience I worked on Red Hat.
