Edmonton, AB (worked 24-60 hours/week throughout high school)* Started as a Welder’s Helper, assisting with tank fabrication and repairs at client sites.* Welded carbon steel, using Stick welding (SMAW), MIG welding (GMAW) and flux core welding (FCAW)techniques to build steel transportation cages for large hydraulic jacks and other equipment.* Welded and grinded repairs on clamps, hydraulic jack aprons and a skidsteer bucket attachment.* Assisted in forming steel walls for tank wall construction.* Used a chop saw and ironworker to cut and fabricate carbon steel into appropriate dimensions.* Worked in a team to set up and operate unified jacking hydraulic systems to lift large oil tanks for on-siterepairs at client tank farms; this included setting up and connecting multiple hydraulic hoses for each heavylift, which required precision and attention to detail to ensure lifts were level within a half inch tolerance.* Helped with setup of concrete forms and concrete pours for tank foundations.* Used basic carpentry skills and safely operated power tools, including drill presses, impact gun, drill, circularsaw, table saw, mitre saw, jigsaw and various pneumatic tools (e.g. die grinder and a pneumatic tire pump).* Operated a Bobcat T300 skidsteer (40 hours) to transport hydraulics and equipment in yard, shop and field.* Participated in daily job safety analysis and daily safety meetings.* Mix Brothers was recognized by a client as one of the most safety-oriented companies they had ever hired.

*Operated forklift, skidsteers and tractors to load, unload and transport chemicals for crop spraying.* Performed interior detailing and exterior pressure washing on 6 semi-trucks; applied a pest control product.* Used a tractor-grader attachment to spread and level gravel on driveways.
