I respond to plant and customer inquiries about fuel system issues with unique solutions.• Transitioned team into new group after disbanding of core powertrain team, while streamlining workload.• Consolidated and fulfilled responsibilities of group to an 'area of excellence' for PACCAR Fuel.• Delivered onsite support during pilot builds for various programs.

In this job role, I was in charge of Core Powertrain's concentration on large and minor initiatives, such as emissions model years 2021 and 2024, T680 Mid-Life Update (MLU), and 2.1m New Medium Duty (NMD). Within the Core Powertrain department, I oversaw the design and development of heavy-duty truck powertrains. I implemented rules and programs to increase team workload and engineering metrics. I recruited a large number of people and conducted performance assessments, including increases and promotions, within critical deadlines.• Led powertrain-related projects for areas of truck, including drivelines, transfer cases, split-shaft PTO, Kenworth DEF and exhaust systems, and fuel lines for legacy products.• Ensured completion of work related to engineering goals, REIs, PLRs, and OARs.• Drove reduction in REI count by 40% and PLR count by 85% by measuring main REI and PLR metrics and posted them for team to track their progress.• Enhanced accuracy from 98.75% to 99.49% by clearly defining roles of everyone on team with primary and secondary duties and revising check and approval process to hold everyone in process accountable for reducing amount of ongoing 'pencil wiping'.
